How To Find Scholarships Or Grants For College?
My father died from cancer when I was three years old, and I know my grandma( his mother) had looked up many grants and scholarships that I could get because of that to help me go to school. However, she passed away recently, and I’m not sure where to look?? I keep running into brick walls on my searchs for this.. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! thanks!

well, if you’re in highschool, when school starts again go to your counselor! They can help you alot. You should be getting a green sheet or something with a list of scholarship names…but aside from that, you should apply to http://www.fastweb.com. They are very legit. You may have heard of them through school, but they are VERY helpful. You fill out a profile with everthing about you basically and you constantly get emailed different scholarships that have good relation to you. I love it. They tell you deadlines, who, what, when, where, why…everything. They give you links…everything! It’s very helpful
Go right to your college and as financial aid what is available. Or you can co on the website from any college and look under scholarships, grants and see what is available from that site. You can just google or search any site and just put in college scholarships and grants and that will also help you out.
I use a website called Zinch
check it out here:http://www.zinch.com/Anonymous/StudentRe…
It’s designed so colleges don’t just look at your test scores, but the whole person too. Top schools such as Harvard, Yale, and the United States Military Academy are on this website and they will be able to see your profile. It also provides you with scholarships that you qualify for so you don’t need to go searching individually for one.
